About Me

My sewing journey began when I was about 12 years old. I
remember the delight I experienced when my mother first let me
use her sewing machine, and from there I was hooked!

I draw great satisfaction from the creative process of starting a project from scratch. The challenge of designing, planning, and producing is not only fulfilling but also restorative.

 
For the past ten years my creative sewing endeavors have mostly
focused on quilt making. I believe that the ebb and flow of making
a quilt encourages one to focus on the details knowing that you
have every right to change your mind along the way. This has
inspired me to follow my intuition when a certain piece of fabric
catches my eye and allows me to, on a whim, confidently change
my direction.
